It publishes a wide range of reference guides, books and journals for professionals and the general public. The unrivalled DrugScope Information Service allows access to a multi-disciplinary library of over 80,000 documents from around the world. Much of this information is now available on the website. The Drug Data search allows visitors to search the comprehensive DrugScope database for documents on a vast range of drug-related subjects. DrugScope's Helpfinder database of drug treatment services was developed by DrugScope and funded by the National Treatment Agency for Substance Misuse. Helpfinder provides contact information and basic service provision details for drug treatment and care services in England and the Channel Islands. Helpfinder enables visitors to the site to search for organisations providing specialist treatment for drug users, their families and friends. Helpfinder can be used to search for organisations in your area and print their contact details. The Media Guide to Drugs area of the site aims to provide journalists, media researchers and other individuals who write on (illicit) drug related issues for a public audience with some guidance away from common misrepresentations of those issues. The DrugScope site allows the general public access to the truth about drug-taking and related issues, in an informative and straightforward manner. |
